rFactor is probably the most popular online racing game. This is simply because the netcode and online experience are very smooth and provide fun racing. It is also a highly modifiable game, meaning that anyone can create their car, their physics, their tracks, their racing series. The flexibility this gives to the game is amazing, thats why its one of gamers' favorites.
With 15 degrees of freedom, advanced tire modeling, 30+ multi player servers this game is the king of online racing. Thanks to a huge community, new tracks, plug ins, cars, physics are coming out every day. Providing a very long gameplay life to rFactor.
The new version 1.255 addresses online security issues that plagued secured servers in the previous version. It also fixes a lot of bugs and glitches that caused random disconnections and crashes during online games. However the version does not allow you to connect to v1150 servers anymore. The only downfall of this version is that there are still some issues since v1150 that haven't been addressed and some features that people were expecting for this version, never came. All in all however, this is still a very enjoyable racing experience. |
